A native of Norway, who located in Red Wing, where Mr. Hembre followed his trade as a carpenter until his death, in 1908.
Published in the Red Wing Daily Republican, July 2, 1908:
Ole Hembre, corner of Third and Potter streets, died at 4:30 o'clock this morning after a long suffering from heart trouble. He was over 80 years old. He settled in Red Wing in 1866. A widow and several grownup children survive him.
The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon, July 4, from the house at 1:30 p.m. and from Trinity Lutheran church at 2 o'clock p.m. Services will be conducted by Rev. K. Bjorgo.
