HEART ATTACK FATAL TO STEVE LOKEN -

Steve Loken, manager of the Kenyon Co-operative Oil association and prominent in the affairs of this community, passed away suddenly at 5:20 a. m. Wednesday, April 21,1948, at his home, following a heart attack, which he suffered about two hours earlier. He had been in good health prior to the attack.

Besides serving as manager of the oil association, Mr. Loken was one of the directors of the Security State Bank and was a member of the Commercial club. The Kenyon Co-operative Oil station will close Saturday morning at 11 o'clock and will remain closed the balance of the day.

He is survived by his wife; two brothers: Halbert of Wanamingo and Oscar of Zumbrota; three Sisters: Mrs. Rudolph Fjelstad of Thief River Falls; Mina of Zumbrota, and Mrs. Anna Steberg of Wanamingo.

Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday from the Larson Funeral Home and at 2 o'clock at Lands church. Interment will be in the Lands church cemetery.
