Notes for Alfred H. Loken
Alfred Loken died: 23 January 1930, a short time after he had an operation. He was 49 years of age.

He was born in Goodhue County, MN on 31 August 1880, the son of Halvor O. and Amjor Strand Loken. He married Jonette Lund in 1910. They settled on a farm, which was now their home.

The dear deceased man was an active and contentious man, and the quick departure is of sorrow to the Congregation, where he had always had his home. First, he fufilled his place in the home, congregation and community. He will be missed most with his family, sorrowing wife and two daughters: Alveda and Helen; then his parents and grandfather, Aslak Strand, who is 95 years old and well. He also is survived by brothers: Oscar, Stephen and Halbert, and sisters: Agatha and Mina, all living at home or in the neighborhood, and Gina, married to Pastor Rudolf Fjelstad at Thief River Falls, MN.
Notes for Jonette (Spouse 1)
Wife of: Alfred Loken. Mother of: Alvida Juella, b: 18 Jan. 1912; and Helen Rosella, b: 2 July 1919.
